Electronic cigarettes are better for you. We know that. The question is can they really help you quit smoking? There has been some debate over this as electronic cigarettes are so much like the originals that addictions can pop up with these too. They look and feel the same so even with less nicotine or no nicotine at all you may still crave the real thing.

The use of electronic cigarettes like the vapestick, has been looked at as an effective way to quit smoking than the other methods on store shelves. The gum doesn’t taste good while the patches fall off and quitting cold turkey is for the birds. Using electronic cigarettes is psychological as the movements you make are the same as with traditional smoking. To quit with electronic cigarettes you must have the drive and want to do it. These little electronic butts aren’t going to do all the hard work for you.

If you decide to use electronic cigarettes as your method for quitting smoking then you should do it slowly. If you are a heavy smoker, now then you need to start the electronic cigarettes off with the highest level of nicotine. Then over a period of time, you can wean yourself down to less nicotine. Start yourself off with an electronic cigarette starter kit and start with one of those a day and then add one and subtract a real cigarette from your day as you go. This way overtime you should be smoking only electronic cigarettes.
